To enable translation features in your browser, please follow the steps below for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.
Google Chrome
- Click the three dots (menu icon) at the top-right corner of the browser window.
- Select ‘Settings’.
- Scroll down and click on ‘Advanced’ to reveal more options.
- Under the ‘Languages’ section, click on ‘Language’.
- Ensure your preferred language is at the top of the list. If ‘Dutch’ is listed, click the three dots next to it and select ‘Remove’.
- Toggle on ‘Offer to translate pages that aren’t in a language you read’.
With these settings, Chrome will prompt you to translate Dutch websites into your preferred language.
Microsoft Edge
- Click the three dots (menu icon) at the top-right corner of the browser window.
- Select ‘Settings’.
- In the left sidebar, click on ‘Languages’.
- Ensure your preferred language is at the top of the list. If ‘Dutch’ is listed, click the three dots next to it and select ‘Remove’.
- Toggle on ‘Offer to translate pages that aren’t in a language I read’.
This configuration will allow Edge to offer translations of Dutch websites into your preferred language.
